The President underscored the need to plant more Jatropha seedlings, locally known as “tagumbao” or “tuba-tuba,” which is a plant variety capable of producing bio-diesel. ORION, BATAAN--President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, assisted by Rep. Albert Garcia of the 2nd District of Bataan, leads the groundbreaking ceremony of the P33.5 million Diosdado Macapagal Cruise Terminal project at the Port of Orion in Barangay Puting Buhangin, Orion, Bataan. The state-of-the-art terminal project is envisioned to put Orion on the map of international cruise shipping industry and provide fast and reliable cargo and ferry services for passengers and goods between and among the regions of the National Capital Region, CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), and Central and Northern Luzon.
