CAVITE
GOV. AYONG MALIKSI WELCOMES SRI LANKAN OFFICIALS.
Cavite Gov. Ayong S. Maliksi (center) welcomes the 25
Sri Lankans in the province during the Lakbay Aral of
senior officials from the Ministry of Health, Government
of Sri Lanka, thru the Asian Institute of Development
Studies, Inc. (AIDSI), in Trece Martires City. The Sri
Lankans visited the provincial hospital, the Korea-Philippines
Friendship Project Hospital and Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo
Memorial Hospital to observe their health practices
and services. The visitng foreign officials also inspected
the Tanza, the MagNaMarte District Health Office and
Self Sustaining Physical Therapy Project and the Cavite
Municipal Hospital in Maragondon, Cavite. |

left) who was recently elected national chairman of
the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP), and
Sulu Gov. Abdu Sakur Tan (extreme right) were among
the key participants called on by President Gloria Macapagal
Arroyo for joint consultations together with members
of the Cabinet and the National Security Council at
the Malacañang to thresh out pressing national
concerns including hostilities in Mindanao and mitigation
efforts to address flooding and drought crises disparately
